PPB Survey Results: Wealth Managers Increase Allocations to Alternatives

We are pleased to release our first survey of financial advisors’ views on alternative investments.

We wanted to gain clarity on the direction of alternative investments among RIAs, and to provide insights to RIAs for whom alternative investments are an emerging part of their business.   We found a number of interesting findings including that advisors expect to increase their allocations to alternatives over the next 12 months and that they believe alternative investments will weather a market downturn and perform well relative to public equities.
