Expands Access to Alternative Asset Classes

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA – BUSINESS WIRE – PPB Capital Partners (PPB) makes enhancements to its Capital Markets Solutions business. PPB has redefined the scope of how private wealth advisors and their investors access private markets and alternative investments.

PPB’s improvements to the program reflect the evolution of the existing structure and business model. At its core, PPB’s Capital Markets Solutions (CMS) is driven by private wealth feedback and collaboration with the RIA community. Its investment decisions and offerings are made in response to their clients’ investment objectives and are designed to alleviate investment hurdles.

“With unbiased guidance, we operate in the best interest of the private wealth community, with integrity and trust, 100% of our decisions start with them,”
Brendan Lake, PPB Founder and CEO.

Often sourced through peer collaboration, PPB selects CMS strategies with the high conviction of an in-house investment advisory committee, led by Chief Investment Officer, Frank Burke, CFA. The team shares decades of combined industry experience and convenes regularly to vet managers, sponsors, and alternative asset classes. The program integrates durable and differentiated alternative assets with an effective pathway to complementary strategies.

“We start with discovery to understand the RIA’s open mandates and clients’ objectives such as diversification, uncorrelated income, alpha generation, or total return,” said Evan Deussing CIMA, Managing Director, Head of Distribution.

A Bridge to Alternative Investment Access

CMS functions as an extension of an investment office, working hand in hand with advisors, to navigate and optimize alternative investments in new ways that solve clients’ evolving financial needs. The program facilitates access and attractive entry points to boutique and institutional caliber managers, many of whom are historically inaccessible to private wealth investors.

As part of this initiative, PPB is expanding the current CMS product offering with a diverse range of alternative asset classes including:

  • Private Credit – Flexible financing with attractive risk-adjusted returns for investors seeking stable income streams.
  • Mid-Market Private Equity – High-growth middle-market companies to drive strategic value creation.
  • Settlement Finance – Exposure to structured legal settlements, delivering non-correlated returns.
  • Healthcare Royalty Credit – Life sciences and pharmaceutical royalties, supporting medical innovation while generating consistent cash flows.
  • Crossover Fund – Bridging private and public markets to capitalize on high-growth opportunities in pre-IPO and public companies.

Introducing Pine Valley: A New Opportunity in Settlement Finance

Further strengthening PPB’s alternative investment lineup, the firm is pleased to introduce Pine Valley, a manager focused on Settlement Finance. Pine Valley provides investors with exposure to structured legal settlements, an asset class known for its low correlation to traditional markets and consistent return potential.

By partnering with Pine Valley, PPB continues to expand access to differentiated investment opportunities that align with advisors’ long-term objectives. This collaboration underscores PPB’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions and unlocking new sources of value for private wealth investors.
