About Casey Brunner, CIMA – Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Gondola Capital
Prior to co-founding Gondola Capital, Casey accumulated 20 years of experience in finance and asset management. With a focus on business development and investor relations, the majority of his career has been at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, The Rock Creek Group and Hatteras Funds. Casey has enjoyed forging strong relationships with many of the largest RIAs, Family Offices and Consultants in the country; he has always focused on helping these capital advisors differentiate and strengthen their portfolios with access to unique and specialized alternative investments. Casey earned his BS at The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and earned his MBA at The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He obtained his Certified Investment Management Analyst designation at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Casey resides in Vail, CO with his wife and three children. Together they are active members of their church and enjoy living the mountain lifestyle. His favorite places to conduct client meetings are on a chairlift or gondola.
About Michael F. Lee, Jr., CAIA – Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Gondola Capital
As co-founder of Gondola Capital, Michael prides himself on the unmatched commitment and focus he gives each client to ensure their goals are met. Prior to incepting Gondola, Michael played an instrumental role in the success and growth of Hatteras Funds for nearly a decade as a Partner and Executive Director. In addition, Michael was previously Senior Vice President at Direxion Investments in New York City. His passion for alternative investments and looking after the best interest of his clients within the private wealth channel is what has led to forging meaningful relationships with many of the leading RIAs, family offices, and consultants across the United States. Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. He also obtained the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation (CAIA) in 2011, along with completing various other industry related continuing education courses. In 2008, Michael moved from New Jersey to Raleigh, North Carolina and officially considers himself a southerner. As an avid soccer player in his youth, Michael holds close to his heart the opportunity to coach his son’s youth NCFC soccer team. When he is not on the soccer field, you can find him planning his next outdoor adventure which could be anything from hiking in Telluride to body surfing on Long Beach Island with his family.
