PPB Capital Partners is one of the fastest-growing firms in the alternative investment industry and we are expanding our team! We are currently seeking an experienced Fund Administration professional who will manage daily processes and procedures. The ideal candidate must have at least 6+ years of direct prior experience in fund accounting operations, specifically within alternative investment structures. This role is responsible for managing the accounting books and records of the firm and serves as intermediary between the funds, the investment advisors, and the fund administrator.

 

Fund Administration:

  • Oversee the third-party administrator’s preparation of ongoing regulatory filings.
  • Participate in quarterly board meetings and serve in officer position for the Trust.
  • Compile and distribute board of trustee meeting materials.
  • Oversee the third-party administrator’s preparation of fund financial statements for limited partners and the SEC to comply with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordination of the annual audit with third party audit firm.
  • Oversee the third-party administrator’s portfolio compliance with the SEC and IRC.
  • Problem-solving and ad hoc analysis.
  • Oversight over state and federal tax filings.
  • Develop and monitor fund administration servicing procedures.
  • Oversight and coordination of periodic tender-offers, including notices, tabulation, and communications.
  • Monitoring a fund budget based on contractual agreements and expense activity trends.
  • Manage fund invoice approval and bill payment processes.
  • Placement of Fidelity Bond and E&O/D&O Insurance.
  • Maintain servicing calendar for the Trust inclusive of board meeting dates, contract renewals, resolution approvals, tax and regulatory filings, and tender offer schedules.

 

Fund Development:

  • Liaise with external legal counsel to problem solve fund related matters
  • Assist in the coordination of formation of offering documents and corporate formation of funds and general partners
  • Manage and facilitate communication of fund development fund launch pipeline
  • Assist in legal invoice review for accuracy and tracking
